real dead mermaid; after typing in mermaids through google. It's really vague on ho
w exactly it died, were exactly it was, and if it was a real mermaid. Of course this was translated from russian to english, so the actual story may have been lost in translation. I don't know, you decide.

I actually believe this picture of the mermaid is a plaster cast some students made, though I don't know if they were basing it off of anything or not. Maybe that article isn't online anymore
